DigiPen Student Projects

Student

2013 - 2017

I graduated from DigiPen Institute of Technology in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Game Design. Across the two projects shown here, I worked as a UI/UX Designer on two very different and unconventionally controlled games: one used VR controls, while the other used real sand to manipulate the game world. I also had the opportunity to showcase Sand Garden at PAX and GDC, which was an exciting experience early in my career.

Sand Garden

Sand Garden is an Experimental Augmented Reality game where the player moves physical sand to affect the in-game terrain. Picky villages pop up throughout the game and it's the players job to shape the world around the villages so they can grow and thrive in the environment of their choice. Or you can just make a volcano and watch it all burn down.

My role on the team was UI/UX Designer, PR Materials Designer, User Researcher, and I worked the booth at both PAX West and alt.ctrl.GDC.

This project was showcased at PAX West 2016 and alt.ctrl.GDC 2017.

Night of the Living Bread: Dough Rising

Screenshots and Pictures

Night of the Living Bread: Dough Rising is a cross between Left 4 Dead and a whole lot of bread. You’ll have to beat back the zombie gingerbread horde in this pun-tastic VR shooter. Once you strap on the HTC Vive, you’ll have a bakery-themed arsenal at your disposal – among them, the crescaber and the T.O.A.S.T.E.R. – in order to stop the demonic Confection insurrection.

My role on the team included producer, UI/UX Designer, PR Materials Designer, and User Researcher.
