Faster Than Light (or FTL as it's more commonly known) is a space rouge-like where you command a crew of engineers, pilots, and soldiers to escape the doom that's following you throughout the game.
One thing I like about the game is the ability to pause and figure out what you're doing. You can pause the game at any time by using the space bar and while you're paused you can arrange your power or queue up actions. This is really useful for new and advanced players to take a break and figure out how to get out of the sticky situations the game puts you in.
One thing I don't like is the amount of info the game throws at you at once. FTL is a very deep game and is very fun but newer players might be intimidated by some of the stuff the game puts in front of you. For instance, when you're customizing your ship there's crew, drones, augmentations, advanced layouts and everything in between. Although this info is important to advanced players maybe having a "quick-start" button before this screen would be useful for newer players who just want to command their crew.
